Nancy Tahmo receives the EPIC Doctoral Award!

Congratulations to Nancy Tahmo on receiving the Emerging and Pandemic Infections Consortium (EPIC) Doctoral Award!

This award supports interdisciplinary scholars dedicated to the prevention and control of infectious diseases. Nancy was selected in recognition of her research integrating Bayesian causal inference, HIV modeling, and community participation to identify novel strategies for closing prevention gaps among sexual minority communities in Kenya.

Her leadership in advancing participatory modeling and co-developing network-based interventions with frontline programs reflects EPIC’s vision for collaborative, forward-thinking infectious disease research.
